The National Weather Service has reissued a Red Flag Warning for Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, effective immediately through 6:00 PM PST, Wednesday, January 15. This warning is due to gusty Santa Ana winds, extremely low humidity, and very dry vegetation, which create critical fire weather conditions that significantly increase the risk of fire ignition, rapid spread, and extreme behavior.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Regular Meeting of the City Council scheduled for Monday, January 13th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., has been adjourned due to the current emergency. The Adjourned Regular Meeting will be held on: Monday, January 20th, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
AMENDMENT TO LOCAL EMERGENCY ORDERS - CITY OF HIDDEN HILLS - The work restrictions on activities implemented in Section 3 of the January 8, 2025, proclamation order are hereby lifted, effective January 10, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
The City of Hidden Hills has declared a local emergency due to the Palisades Fire threatening city boundaries, high winds, and poor air quality. Prohibited activities in the city include all non-essential work and maintenance.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department has announced that there will be a Red Flag Warning in effect in the Santa Monica Mountains from 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7th through 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9th.
